First Year Grade Exclusion

I’m sure everybody is being bombarded with dorm catalogs so I’ve decided to make a list of what is REALLY needed to situate yourself comfortably at A&M. The worse thing you can do is over pack, because hauling that stuff all back to your house for the summer SUCKS..believe me. If you’re are going to be living on campus next year, bedding is def. the one thing you want to splurge on. The washers and dryers are really heavy on your clothes, so the better quality you start with the less you will have to stress about. According to the Dallas Morning News,”Texas A&M has signed a contract with Adidas, the company told The Associated Press Monday. This is the second major university in less than a week to end its relationship with Nike and move on with Adidas.”We believe college sport is very important,” said Erich Stamminger, president and chief executive officer of the Adidas brand.The terms of the contract were not immediately available.”We’re thrilled to be working with Adidas,” said Drew Martin, assistant athletic director for branding and creative development at Texas A&M.Earlier this month, University of Michigan ended its relationship with Nike and signed an eight-year contract with Adidas. The Adidas deal was valued at $60 million in cash and merchandise, plus a $6.5 million signing bonus – the company’s largest university deal to date.” If somebody offered me that much money to change my wardrobe, I would do it without a second thought, but Adidas is DEF. not Nike. Maybe it’s just me…what do you think?

So…I was on Facebook the other day looking through those lame ass applications when I noticed a ad that said, ” Free German Shepherd.” Now, if Melissa (name has been changed) doesn’t want baby Cujo, why would anybody else? However, she does say that the dog is only 3 years old with a great pedigree, BUT still who gives away a damn German Shepard. If you’re interested check it out here.

Aw, don’t you all remember Eddie Murphy’s show The Pjs? I use to be OBSESSED with this show when I was a kid. Well, for anybody else who wants to reminisce, ENJOY!!

Which songbird had such a bad reaction to her makeup and broke out in pimples, that she brokeup with her boyfriend becasue he has never seen her without makeup.

1. DO NOT forget to get your Meningitis shot. You will get sick at LEAST five times the first semester.

2. The cat that you will see roaming around campus is NOT a damn pet.

3. No, nobody died in Underwood ladies. That’s just the way the dorm smells.

4. Going to class will make your life SO MUCH easier.

5. If you value your life, NEVER walk on the grass near the MSC.

6. 8am classes=failure/summer school

7. Studing at night in computer lab= Club SCC

8. Yes, people who live in Mosher are cooler than you

9. Walking back to your dorm, is alot quicker than driving.

10. Parking at a church to get to a bar IS normal (although you will probably get towed).

11. Change is better to have on campus than dollars.

12. Even if it is hot and sunny, carry a umbrella.

13. Freshman: Get to A&M as early as possible on move-in day (AUG 19). If not, you’ll probably end up crying by days in.

14. If you comeback on Friday after pulling your football ticket, there’s a chance to exchange it for a first deck seat

15. Contrary to what they told you at your NSC, your academic advisers don’t know much so always get a second opnion.

16. Yes, getting a ticket while riding on your bike is a very real possibility.

17. Enjoy the rest of Summer, and come back to my blog when it officially launches in August!!(J/K but posting will be slow until school starts)
